The Most Popular Film Genre

From looking at the graph above you can see that thriller films are not the most popular films in regards to the amount of sales at the box office. In actual fact the most popular film genre is Adventure then Comedy, Action, Drama and finally Thriller. But by looking at the graph in greater detail, depending on the season and month of the year the popularity of the film genre can vary. For example from the late summer through till autumn thriller films become slightly more popular and begin to overtake action film box office sales. Thriller films also have another peak during the spring period of the year. However, during the summer months the sales of thrillers plummet and get over taken by Romantic Comedy's.
In Evaluation this graph I analyzed is slightly outdated so the numbers may have changed and thrillers could have become a more popular amongst film genres.
