This task was done in 'Louisa's' lesson. in the lesson we conducted a few 'Clarity' tasks and we also completed the tasks sheets 'Title sequence analysis and Class analysis of a title sequence'.
| This was conducted at the very beginning of the lesson, it was basically a overview of the four phases of the new 'Film openings' objective, this was very helpful. |
| This was done somewhere at the beginning of the lesson also, it was also a 'clarity' task. |
| For this task, we had to separate to small groups (two's or three's) and we had to analyse a title sequence and then present our findings back to the rest of the class. |
| For this task, we had to analyse a title sequence to a film. The task's heading stated that we would look at the sequence twice, and as we watched, we had to make notes in the grid shown. |
| This is my groups attempt at ordering the title sequence . |
This is the conventional order of title order sequence. |
After Louisa's lesson on title sequences, we can draw the conclusion that in films that follow the conventional title sequence order:
- The film title almost always appears near the one minute mark, in between the beginning mark and middle point of the opening of the film.
- The types of fonts used are usually bold, plain & simple, contrasting to the on screen footage and relatively straight forward.
